6 strong innings from Nova not enough when bullpen struggles again.
Ivan Nova had by far his best start of the season, holding the Yankees to 4 hits through 6+ innings. On the other side, C.C. Sabathia was just as good, going 5 innings in his return from injury, allowing only 1 hit.
Ricky pulled Nova after 1 batter in the bottom of the 6th and turned the game over to the bullpen. Jace Fry immediately induced an almost-guaranteed double play ground ball, but Yolmer booted it. Ricky called in Ryan Burr with two men on, which did not go as planned. The Yankees tagged him with hard-hit balls right and left, plating 3 runs in the 7th. Aaron Judge topped things off with an opposite field shot in the 8th, providing the final Yanks run. The Yankee bullpen was fantastic, striking out 6 Sox hitters in the final 4 innings without allowing a baserunner.
Final Score: White Sox 0, Yankees 4
Other game option: None
Game Notes:

- The hardest hit ball of the day for the White Sox was probably Leury Garcia's fly ball to right to lead off the game. Otherwise, the
- White Sox MVP: Nova. Tough-luck loss today - this performance deserved better
- LVP: Burr. This was a really painful 2 innings for Ryan.
