April 11 (Game 15): Matt Davidson Wins It with a Homer in the 8th!
Rays (9-4) @ White Sox (5-9)
Yonny Chirinos v James Shields (1-0, 6.00)

Matt Davidson has 5 hits this season - all are home runs. Basher.

Shields started out REALLY rough, walking 4 of the first 7 Rays batters. He recovered from there, striking out 6 while walking only 1 more. When he was pulled in the 7th, the White Sox were only down 1-0. In 2 2/3 innings, the bullpen (Avilan, Bruce Rondon (!), Jones) didn't allow a hit, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Definitely the best bullpen outing of the season.
In the bottom of the 8th, the day was saved by Jose Abreu and Davidson, who lit up Austin Pruitt to win the game and end the 5-game skid.
Final Score: Rays 1, White Sox 2
Other game option: None
Game Notes:
- Big Bruce Rondon entered in the 8th and looked nasty. If only there had been more of these outings.
- WhiteSox MVP: Davidson. It couldn't possibly be anyone else.
- LVP: Yoan Moncada. 0-4, 3 Ks (2 with men on).
